“I would like to see more people in San Lucas who can think and analyze for themselves.  I would like to see more people feeling proud of who they are, their heritage, their language, their songs, their prayers, their way of life.  For far too long they have been forgotten, disconnected from the world, struggling to survive on the most basic level. I would like to see people in Canada feel connected to them in some way down the road.  It’s good for the soul.”
